Hey there! Today I’m talking about some of the things I’ve been liking recently, so grab a coffee and let’s chat!
Lately I’ve been loving the EatingEvolved Mint Cream Coconut Butter Cups and Epic Pork Cracklings. I found both of these on Thrive Market while I was doing my Whole30 and they’re the perfect snacks. I love that they’re made with minimal ingredients. No fillers or artificial junk here!
First an empty and repurchase is the Bite Agave Lip Mask! I loved the mini size I received at the Bite Lip Lab in NYC (so fun!) so when I used it up, I decided to repurchase the full size in the Maple version. This stuff seriously tastes like its maple syrup and it moisturizes dry lips like a dream. A little goes a long way so in my opinion the $26 price tag is well worth it!
Next up is the belif- the true cream- moisturizing bomb. This seriously saved my skin this winter. I was dealing with terrible dry patches and after trying this at Sephora, I purchased the check-out aisle mini and it completely changed my skin in just a few days. I’ve continued to use this and I’m still loving it weeks later!
Another skin saver is the Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask. I credit finding this to my gal, Rachel and I’m thankful I did! This is an outstanding, exfoliating mask. Because of the clay I definitely would be careful if you have super dry skin but if you leave it on just until it’s dry, immediately wash off, and follow with a heavy-duty moisturizer your skin will feel brand new! It leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth!
Last but not least, the Korres Wild Rose Brightening Sleeping Facial. If you recall, I received this in the Beauty in Wonderland advent calendar for Christmas and I really enjoy it. I feel like when I use this before bed, my skin actually looks and feels better in the morning. I don’t know if it’s something that I’ll repurchase but I’ve been loving this sample size!
To be honest with you lately, I’m too lazy/busy to do much styling to my hair and that’s where these two bomb products come in to play! The Redken NoBlowDry Airy Cream has been awesome to give my fine hair a boost when I let it air dry. This was another sample product from the beauty advent calendar that I’ve been loving! Now I know the Amika Bombshell Blowout Spray seems like it would be used for blow drying but my hairstylist told me that it makes a great beach spray and she’s so right! This works much better than most salt sprays and doesn’t leave your hair crunchy or gross. Also, Amika products smell bomb! It also is amazing for blow drying your hair too, lol.
First up, mascara and eyebrows! I feel like the past year has been a period of me figuring out how to do my eyebrows and this combo is perfection. The Model Co Instant Brows pencil was another beauty advent calendar find and my first ever eyebrow pencil and it’s amazing. Unfortunately, it looks like they don’t sell this exact pencil anymore so I’ll have to look for a replacement when mine runs out. I bought this Essence Make Me Brow when the Benefit Gimme Brow was pulled from shelves and my mini ran out. Honestly, after using this I wouldn’t repurchase the more expensive Benefit one. This is just as good for 1/8 of the price. $3!?! Heck yeah!
As for mascara, I’ve really been liking this Covergirl Peacock Flare. I bought this on a whim at Target without seeing any reviews (normally I watch and read everything before buying mascara) and it actually turned out! I didn’t think I would like it at first but I think that it actually helps keep my straight lashes curled throughout the day.
Next up is my current fave palette, The Jaclyn Hill Morphe Palette. The colors in this are beautiful and pigmented. Some do need to be applied with your finger to get that really rich shine but beyond that they are a beautiful formula. This is the palette I’ve been reaching for the most since I bought it. My only complaint is that I wish it had a matte cream shade.
This highlight though!! This the tarte highlighter in exposed and it’s a beauty! I received this mini size in an Ulta sample set and I love it! It makes an impact while still being natural on the face. I’m not into those super high sheen highlighters so this is perfect if you still want to have a little va-va-voom on your cheeks!
These are three of my most reached for lip products over the past couple months! The two Bite lipsticks are the ones from the Sephora birthday gift, so I would definitely recommend picking that up if you haven’t already because it’s FREE! The top one is the Matte Crème Lip Crayon in Glacé. I’m obsessed with this because I love how easy it is to apply and reapply.
Next is the Colourpop Blotted Lip in Candyfloss. This is super easy to apply and is warmer than the other two. Lately I’ve been preferring lip products that are swipe and go, that I don’t have to worry about throughout the day and this one is perfect!
Lastly is the Bite Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Chai. This again is a mini from the Sephora birthday gift and I love the shade and formula. The Amuse Bouche lipsticks are creamy and pigmented.
Those are all my recent favorites! Let me know in the comments what snacks and products you’ve been loving lately!
Until next time,
