FabFitFun…Is It Worth It?

Happy Saturday!

I recently purchased a FabFitFun box and I wanted to let y’all know my thoughts. I’m sure you’ve seen every reality TV star and Instagram Influencer talk about it in a sponsored post but I wanted to give you an unbiased opinion.

FabFitFun boxes are lifestyle subscription boxes that contain items related to beauty, fitness, wellness, and fashion that are shipped quarterly. They retail for either $49.99 per box or $179.99 for the year and each box is supposed to contain items valued at over $200! My friend, Karina, currently gets the boxes so I used her code to get $10 off my first box, making it $39.99. I have previously purchased both Ipsy and Birchbox subscriptions so I had a basic idea of how the FFF boxes would work. When I signed up, I believe I was able to choose the color of certain items and choose between a few items and the rest were selected by FFF.

The packaging of the box was so cute and the lavender color is definitely on trend. It comes with a little newsletter about FabFitFun as well as a card listing all of your products and the price of each item.

What’s inside?

Mer-Sea & Co. Cozy Scarf in Blush $98

This scarf is so beautiful and soft! Perfect timing for the cold snap we’ve been having on the East Coast. This one item has already doubly paid for the box.

Summer & Rose Double Bar Necklace in White $40

I love bar necklaces but have never purchased one so this one is perfect! I love dainty silver jewelry and I know that this will get a ton of wear.

Private Party Gym Bag  $59

I feel like I chose this item but it’s definitely one of the items that I’m least excited for and will most likely get passed on to a friend.

RealHer Eyeshadow Palette in Do Your Squats $28

*heart eyes* These shades are right up my alley! Bronze-y/rose gold hues that seem to have nice pigmentation. I look forward to trying this out!

Way of Will Muscle Soak Bath Salts $35

I looooooove baths so this will surely be used. Would I normally purchase a $35 jar of bath salts? No. But that’s one of the reasons why I love subscription boxes! You get to try things you might not normally purchase.

Spongellé Body Buffer in Bulgarian Rose $16

I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily excited for this but I’ll for sure try it out! I kind of wish it was a different fragrance though.

MakeupDrop Silicone Makeup Applicator $20

I’m trying not to have an opinion on this without trying it but I’ve seen a few videos about silicone blenders and I don’t think I’m going to like this. However, I have it now so I will try it at least once.

Whish Beauty Nourishing Dew Mask  $54

I’ve received a few other Whish products in Birchbox and I’m not sure why they are so expensive though? I’m super excited for this though because I: A) love face masks and B) have had dry, flaky skin lately. Win-win.

All in all I think this box was a great value for $39.99 or even if it was full price at $49.99! Of the 8 items, I’m super excited for 5, will try 2, and meh about 1. If you’re interested in subscription boxes, I would definitely recommend this one because you’re getting full size products instead of a handful of sample size that you might never use.

FabFitFun Verdict: WORTH IT!

Let me know if you want me to review any of the products or any other subscription services! I’m planning to do more FFF unboxings with each box!
